The NASW Alaska Chapter invites you to join us at the 2011 NASW-AK conference. This year’s theme is Promoting Wellness: Relationships, Resources, and Resiliency and is intended to provide social workers and allied helping professionals a venue for skill building and informational sessions on methods to optimize wellness across Alaska’s diverse populations. NASW-AK is a membership organization with a dual mission to promote, develop, and protect the practice of social work and social workers and to enhance the effective functioning and well-being of individuals, families, and communities through its work and through its advocacy.
Presentations will provide current, relevant, and innovative information and concepts that will inform social work practice, enhance professional and personal development, and promote social action. Watch this space for the detailed conference schedule.
Presentation Formats
Paper Presentation: Papers will be grouped together in sessions by theme. (Length: 30 minutes)
